There’s a reason why I say not to take your digitals to Walmart! Can you spot the consumer lab prints in the pictures below??

While the price and convenience of the print might be appealing, here’s 5 reasons why you should consider printing through your photographer:

Can you see how the Walmart prints are more orange and have higher contrast? Professional printers are constantly monitoring the colour calibration of their printers to ensure the images are printed as they should be!

Notice how you can see my Christmas tree reflected on the Walmart prints but not the professional print? Imagine having that on your wall and trying to view it from an angle with lights on!

3. Size and cropping expertise!

If your photographer sends you a rectangular image and you want to print out a square for your wall, something has to get cut. When you go through a consumer lab, they won’t care what they chop off. Printing through your photographer means you get professional opinions on where to crop and even what size to put on your wall!

4. Print quality guarantee!

I guarantee the quality of all my prints I provide clients. Meaning, if I get the print and am unhappy with how it looks, or you receive the print and are unhappy (it’s too dark, too dull, etc) I will reprint it so it is perfect for you to display in your home!
